Testers put the unit inside a burn chamber with an external temperature of 1,700°F for 60 minutes. During the entire period, it maintained an interior temperature not exceeding 350°F. A typical house fire temperature will only last that hot for the first 15-30 minutes, and this means that even the most sensitive material like paper will not char or receive any damages caused by fire.
