30-minute fire protection
Gardall GF5517-B-C can protect its contents during an unfortunate fire event as it bears a 30-minute fire rating. This label means that if you experience a fire at 1,200°F for 30 minutes, its interior remains below 350°F. Its heavy-duty matte black powder coat also gives another dimension of fire protection. This paint, unlike liquid types, underwent a thermal curing process, making it more resistant to flame.
Three high-security locking options
Gardall GF5517-B-C comes with a standard 3-digit wheel pack lock. When wheels are all in their correct positions and notches align to form a gap where the fence falls, allowing the lock to open. You can upgrade to a UL combination mechanical lock or to a more advanced S&G Titan Electronic Lock that allows easy retrofit without bolt work or mounting screw location changes for an additional fee. For maximum protection and stability, utilize its four anchor holes during installation. Bolting this safe down to a solid surface provides better stability, making it immovable.
