Gardall BGF7242 bears an RSC (Residential Security Containers) after passing a thorough 5-minute test. During the entire trial duration, one man tries to physically attack the safe using tools typically found in a household. This 882-pound safe features an external dimension of 72″H x 42″W x 27.5″D. It also offers a huge storage space of 32.47 cubic ft. that can hold up to 45 rifles without scopes. To help you organize and maximize its storage capacity, it comes with a pocket organizer with pockets to accommodate ammo and pistols.
Excellent resistance against fire
This gun safe showcases a 60-minute fire rating after it passed a severe fire endurance test. In the trial, the unit was under an external temperature of 1,400°F. However, it managed to maintain an interior heat below 350°F which protected the contents inside. Gardall BGF7242 also showcases 2 layers of ½” fireboard insulation and an intumescent door seal. This door seal expands up to 7x more than its original size and fills the space around the door so that it won’t catch on fire quickly. This protection prevents the fire from spreading easily. It also has a heavy-duty black powder coat finish that makes it resistant to flame and corrosion.
Durable and high-strength steel material
Made from high-strength steel material, 11-gauge body, and ¼” steel door, Gardall BGF7242 meets the standard requirement for a quality gun safe. Its door has 9 1 1/2” active bolts 3-way locking bolts that make it resistant to prying attacks. For additional security, utilize its anchor holes to bolt it down securely into a solid surface. It will make the safe immovable.
Two options of high-security locks
You can choose between two locking options for this safe. You can use its standard mechanical lock with KDL (key dial lock) if you value usage longevity, durability, and cost-efficiency. This lock doesn’t depend on the external environment to work.
