Gardall 1612-2 is a functional and durable safe despite its compact size. This vault has an external dimension of 23.25″H x 17.25″W x 19.75″D with a storage space of 1.3 cubic ft. You can put this inside your home or office as it looks good with its classy gray or sandstone color. Being small in size, you can mount this directly on the floor, place it on a countertop or put it inside your closet. It comes with an anchor hole for easy installation and added security. You can store items that you frequently use like cash, jewelry, documents, medicines, and other valuables in this safe. It also includes one adjustable shelf so you can better organize the contents inside.
Excellent burglary features with unique shear handle
This safe bears an RSC (Residential Security Container) rating for Burglary Classification and has proven capability to protect your valuables inside from being stolen by thieves. It showcases a 4-1/4” anti-pry recessed door and 2-1/2” thick walls. This safe also showcases a shear chrome-plated handle that can resist forcible entries through handle attacks. When someone puts too much pressure on this handle to forcefully enter, its shear pin will snap, and the handle spins free.
Certified fire and impact resistant
Gardall 1612-2 passed a fire endurance test under an external temperature of up to 1850°F with an interior temperature of 350°F for 2 hours. After this, it went through an impact test where the unit dropped from 30 ft. high to the concrete rubble. After turning the safe upside down, it went through a reheating process for 45 minutes at 1638°F. The safe was able to protect its contents during the entire duration and after cooling down.
Top-notch locking mechanism with two options to choose from
You can select between two high-security locking options available for Gardall 1612-2. If you like a more convenient and only require a one-step operation, then motor-driven S&G 6120 electronic lock is for you. However, if you value reliability more, then you can select the mechanical lock type because you do not need a power source or batteries to run this. It also comes with two bolts and one relocking device with hard plate protection. These features provide resistance against drilling attacks on the locking mechanism.
