Passed intensive series of Fire Endurance Tests
This media safe proudly carries UL Class 125 2-Hour Fire and Impact ratings. It provides you peace of mind that your media files will remain undamaged even during a file. FireKing DS6431-2 can hold an interior temperature of less than 125°F and relative humidity of less than 80% when exposed to a two-hour fire of 1925°F. It underwent and passed a series of intensive tests that verified its durability and fire-protection capabilities. It fulfilled all the Fire Endurance Test requirements, including the Explosion Hazard Test, the Humidity Test, and the Fire and Impact Test. It also survived an impact test involving an immediate drop from a 30-foot high location down straight to concrete rubble.

FireKing DS6431-2 showcases a great resistance to water. Its excellent form and structure can prevent water damage from fire-prevention equipment like fire hoses and sprinkler systems. In addition, it passed a water-resistance test that subjected it to two water conditions – a 15-minute test with up to 1,000 gallons of water spray and standing under 6 inches of water for one hour.
