FireKing 4-2125-C is a file cabinet with four drawers with an external dimension of 52.75″H x 20.81″W x 25.06″D. It offers a total storage space of 1.81cubic ft. and can fit business and personal documents up to a legal paper’s size (8.5″ x 14″). It weighs 551 lbs. and has a 2-position catch that allows access to a single drawer while the rest remains locked. The drawer bodies include high sides to use for hanging folders, so no additional frames are necessary.
Fire, explosion, and impact-resistant
This file cabinet also gives you confidence and peace of mind that nothing bad can happen to your documents in different situations. This unit underwent a series of tests, proving its durability and capability to protect its contents. It went through a fire-resistance test that put it under 1700° F exterior temperature for 60 minutes, an explosion test under 2000°F, and a 30-foot drop impact test. It also features fireproof insulation between drawers that prevent fire from spreading even if one drawer is left open because each drawer functions as a separate insulated container.
Protects documents from water damages
FireKing 4-2125-C can protect your files against water damages that may come from different fire-prevention equipment such as sprinklers, fire extinguishers, and fire hoses. It is water-resistant certified and underwent a test that subjected the unit under two conditions. One was under a 15-minute test with up to 1,000 gallons of water spray, and the other condition was letting this unit stand in 6 inches of water for 1 hour.
30-minute media protection
This unit can protect electronic media under heat exposure for 30 minutes, such as hard drives, CDs, DVDs, flash drives, thumb drives, but cannot do the same with film/tape. FireKing 4-2125-C also showcases a powder-coat finish on all the sides and the bottom part, providing additional security and durability.
