AMSEC TF5517-E has outside dimensions of 55.25″(h) x 17.75″(w) x 16″(d) with 11-gun capacity. Its size fits in small spaces and perfect for apartments and condominiums. This is also ideal storage for small guns and also works as a general-purpose safe. It features a 14-gauge solid steel plate body construction and a 3/16″ steel plate door. This safe also comes with four pre-cut anchor holes to bolt it down securely into the floor.
30-minute fire resistance with 2-stage dual fire seals
This gun & rifle safe was tested under an external temperature of 1200°F, and the internal temperature did not exceed 350°F within a 30-minute duration. It also possesses a 2-stage dual fire seal with a silicone seal on the door jamb that helps keep the smoke out during a fire.
Reliable locking device
You have an option between AMSEC TF5517-E between two electronic ( ESL 10XL or ESL5) and mechanical type locks. The electronic locks feature an illuminated keypad, so you don’t have to worry about putting your codes even at night. It is also drill-resistant, protected by a hard plate, and includes a spring-loaded relocking device. However, if you worry about running out of batteries, then the mechanical lock is your best choice. For additional security, it comes with a Chrome “L” handle slip clutch. This feature helps prevent excessive torque when bolts are retracted during a break-in attempt.
