AMSEC MAX1814 U.L Listed safe has a 2 ½” defense barrier with a unique, high-density fire and burglary proof composite material between the outer and inner steel plate layers. The proprietary amalgam of nuggets and steel barriers withstand concentrated attacks by burglars with sledgehammers, power saws, carbide disc cutters, and drills for 15 minutes. The inner steel barrier in the body protects against peeling attacks. AMSEC MAX1814 High-Security Safe is also tested and approved for 90 minutes of safety under a fire threat.
AMSEC MAX1814 Safe has multiple safety mechanisms. It has an ESL10XL U.L. Listed Type 1 electronic lock with an internal relock mechanism and a massive drill shattering hard plate. A high-security tempered glass plate also protects the lock area. A remotely placed spring-loaded relocking bolt is also provided, activated if the glass plate is shattered.
