Spacious in-floor safe with shallow depth
AMSEC B3700 features 3,785 cubic inches (2.2 cu. ft.) storage space and an interior depth of 13.63″ can store many items and shallow depth for easy access. Have this installed into a concrete floor and cover with a rug, furniture, or carpet. This unit includes a flush cover plate to conceal it under a carpet properly. Your guests will never know that you have a secret safe. Seek help from a professional, safe installer to determine if your desired location is appropriate for this safe.
Excellent storage for valuables you use occasionally
When putting things inside the vault, ensure that papers and items prone to water damage are secured in a zip lock bag. Since this is not waterproof, moisture can get in after some time. This safe is excellent storage for passports, documents, jewelry, and many more. However, it is advisable that you only put items that you do not often use. The location of the safe is not ideal for frequent opening unless you are comfortable with kneeling and bending a lot when you are accessing the safe.
Burglary-resistant construction
Bearing a B-rating for burglary, AMSEC B3700 features an A36 solid steel body and door. It features a handle-activated locking mechanism with three 1″ diameter, drive-resistant chromed steel locking bolts with a long throw. It includes a ¾” solid steel plate which prevents possible pry attacks. On the other hand, the built-in devices in its door jamb provide superior protection against any form of physical abuse like sledgehammer attacks. Its oversized floor plate ensures strong installation in concrete, and movement or removal seems impossible. During forced entry and door removal cases, a heavy-duty steel plate is located behind the hinge to prevent these things from happening.
Dial combination lock with electronic or mechanical type options
AMSEC 3700 showcases the UL Listed dial combination lock. Additionally, it features a relocking device that uses a punching attack to activate. You have options among three electronic locks (ESL 10XL, ESL 20XL, ESL5) and a mechanical lock. Your choice should suit your personal preference or business requirements. The electronic lock is best if you have multiple users, while the mechanical lock comes with a reliable spin dial. All of these types are protected by a carburized plate.
