AMSEC BFS3416E1 features an external dimension of 39 1/8″ x 21″ x 23 3/4″ and large interior storage capacity of 9,462 cubic inches (5.48 cubic ft.). This storage safe is ideal for home and office use, and it can store documents, extra cash, jewelry, heirlooms, and other valuables that require utmost protection. It comes with two adjustable shelves that enable you to customize the amount of space per layer depending on your storage requirement. It weighs 518 lbs. and looks elegant in its two-toned gray and back finish.
Strong door and body construction
This storage safe is not only large physically but also in protecting your valuables. Its door has an overall thickness of 1-1/2″ and includes a ½” solid steel plate. In addition, AMSEC BFS3416E1 features a high-strength body with 2.31″ double-wall construction and carries a UL Residential Security Container (RSC) Burglary Classification. This badge of excellence means that it survived an extensive 5-minute performance test conducted by one man using various mechanical tools less than 18 inches in length. Some of the tools used to attack the unit physically include adjustable wrenches, pry bars, chisels, screwdrivers, punches, and hammers (with 3 pounds or lighter head weight).
Certified fire-resistant
AMSEC BFS3416E1 passed a fire performance test that verified its ability to protect its contents during a fire. The unit received an external heat exposure under a 1700 degrees F temperature for up to 60 minutes in this test. It maintained an interior temperature not exceeding 350 degrees F during the entire test duration, which is an excellent level because paper materials will still not char or burn at this point.
High security and convenient electronic lock
This storage safe showcases an easy-to-use but hast strict security, electronic lock, ESL10XL. It has electronics encapsulated within and sealed to protect it from moisture-related features that can cause functional failure. It is easily programmable, and you can assign one user, but you can change the 6-digit combination anytime you want. It also features a soft-touch membrane keypad that only requires low activation pressure as an added convenience.
